Case Summary: Mr. Su from Hangzhou shipped furniture by sea to Montreal, Canada

Mr. Su from Hangzhou, an investor immigrant to Montreal, Canada, was preparing to move his household furnishings from China to Canada. After searching for international moving companies on Baidu and comparing several options, he contacted "熙浦国际搬家" (Seapoe Relo) in Shanghai.

Through conversations with Mr. Su, Seapoe's customer service team learned that most of what he needed to ship was furniture, along with daily necessities, totaling 20 cubic meters. Given this situation, they recommended that Mr. Su choose full container load (FCL) ocean shipping, as customs declaration and clearance would be more convenient and the price relatively lower. In addition, they suggested that Mr. Su also ship his carpets and curtains, since these are quite expensive in Canada and are of Western style. Mr. Su gladly accepted the suggestions from Seapoe's customer service team. As for an accurate quotation, a professional needed to be arranged for an on-site measurement before an exact price could be provided. After the on-site volume assessment, Seapoe's customer service team produced an accurate quotation for Mr. Su. Mr. Su was very satisfied with the price and signed the international moving contract.

On packing day, Seapoe's movers disassembled the large furniture that could be taken apart using professional methods to save on cubic volume, numbered the pieces, and arranged them in order so that workers in Montreal could reassemble them easily upon arrival. The entire day was spent on the work—from on-site packing of furniture and belongings to completing everything and loading it onto the truck. Such dedication
