Case Overview: Mr. Lu commissioned Seapoe Relo to ship new furniture from Shanghai to Vancouver, Canada.
After years of hard work in Shanghai, Mr. Lu finally got the opportunity to be posted to Canada. After renting a small apartment in Canada, he found that the furniture market offered few good-quality, affordable pieces, so he decided to buy several new furniture items from China and ship them over. His family in China went to furniture stores to select and place orders, then sent the items to the Seapoe warehouse to await ocean shipping!
Let's take a look at the whole process of shipping new furniture overseas!
Selecting new furniture offline or online: bed, sofa, table and chair set
New furniture delivered to the warehouse: bed, mattress, sofa, dining table, dressing table
Free collection at the Shanghai warehouse: waiting for furniture to be consolidated, organizing the warehouse receipt and sending it to the customer after items arrive one by one
Reinforcement with fumigation-free wooden crates for precious furniture: checking collected furniture for damage and reinforcing a second time as needed
Repacking before shipment: replacing with international moving packaging, sending photo feedback, and preparing for shipment
Choice of shipping method: about 4-5m³, choosing Seapoe's LCL group shipping to share freight costs with many North American customers in the same container, saving 30% on shipping!
After warehouse operations were completed step by step, the ocean shipping process began. Seapoe's self-developed logistics system provides real-time updates on item locations, helping customers track their goods with peace of mind.
After more than 2 months, the newly purchased furniture was successfully delivered to the home in Vancouver. Seapoe has affiliated warehouses in multiple major North American cities (New York/Houston/Vancouver, etc.), ensuring the safety of overseas storage and departure of items.
Buying new furniture from China and shipping it overseas saves both money and hassle!
